Having practiced since 2000, I've learned a few things about myself as a massage therapist:
- I love anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. The human body fascinates me. I am intrigued by how it continually adapts to its environment, heals itself, and by how beautifully it's designed.
- I am especially drawn to working with people in transition. Pregnancy. Career changes. Marriage. Divorce. Relocation. Aging. Family reshaping (empty nests, aging parents, etc). Grief. Menopause. My massage room is a place where you can be free to be confused, angry, sad, lonely, questing, whatever you need to be.
- I appreciate the opportunity to work with people learning to live with chronic conditions. Fibromyalgio. MS. Lupus. Rheumatoid arthritis. Parkinsons, Diabetes. When you and your body are not playing well together, come see me. I'll see if I can't get you talking to each other again.
