I am a graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute. It is one of the oldest massage schools in the mid-Atlantic region, with a rigorous program that leads students to a professional life as a massage therapist. I continue to be involved with PMTI through their alumni association, teaching business seminars and producing the alumni newsletter.

I am certified in pregnancy massage. Kate Jordan's seminars approach the concerns of the pregnant, laboring, and postpartum woman with a comprehensive program of advanced massage techniques and specific pregnancy, labor, and postpartum support measures. Sessions taught take therapists far beyond general adaptations of massage for the pregnant body.
